What is a general Notarial request?
A general notary request includes anything that requires notarizing.
Are you in need of a notary form? Although, we are not authorized to legally advise which Notary Form a client may or may not need to use. Any document presented for notarization must clearly state which notarization is to be performed. There are two types of Notarial Certificates.
- Acknowledgement: "An acknowledgement is where I (the Notary) have verified your identity, and you have willingly signed the document and agreed to its terms."
- Jurat: Pronounced (joo-rat) is where I (the Notary) verifies your identity and your willingness to sign, but you will also take an oath swearing or affirming the contents of the document are true.
Note: Swearing is to God and affirming is on your honor, clients choose per preference.
If you're unsure about which Notarial Certificate you need please seek legal advise or consult with the person who will be receiving the document for additional clarification prior to scheduling your appointment with us.
Preparing for your in-person appointment:
You will need to know what type of notarization is needed. If you are not sure, check with the person who will receive the document once it has been signed.
- Ensure the document has been completed in all of the appropriate places.
- Be sure you have a VALID and acceptable ID. See below for all accepted forms of ID.
- Ensure your name on your document matches your name on your ID.
- Be sure ALL signers are present during the appointment.
- Be sure you fully understand the document you will be signing as the notary will NOT be able to provide any explanations or advice regarding the document being notarized.
Remote Online Notarizations (RON)
We are a Florida Commissioned Remote Online Provider, notarizing documents from anywhere in the world via DocVerify.
Note, you must have a valid social security number.
Schedule your appointment and upload your ID credentials and documents to DocVerify to receive a link and began the online notarization process.
